Summit 30 is a proudly Namibian insurer, licensed for short-term insurance since 2000. The company underwrites a broad range of risks across the country.
Since its inception, Summit 30 has been Namibia’s leading legal insurer. Its flagship product, Legal Shield, offers affordable legal cover, giving Namibians access to qualified in-house legal consultants and a panel of external legal practitioners.
In 2010, Business Shield was launched to support SMEs with labour law challenges, allowing business owners to focus on growth while Summit 30 manages employment disputes. The product has since expanded to include civil litigation, employee funeral cover, and debt collection support—setting it apart in the market.

Legal Shield
Legal Shield is a short-term insurance product that offers cover against legal fees incurred for civil, criminal, labour, matrimonial, and administrative matters for you and your family. The drafting and registration of ante-nuptial contracts, as well as cover for civil and criminal matters in South Africa, is also included.
Conveyancing costs of residential property are also covered. Now, for an additional monthly premium, you can also enjoy cover for your business activities that are not your main source of income.

Dent Shield
Bumps, dents, scrapes—accidents don’t knock before they arrive. That’s why Dent Shield is here: a short-term vehicle insurance product designed to protect you from the unexpected. Simple, flexible, and stress-free, you choose your cover limit, and we take care of the rest.
What’s Covered? If your car or light delivery vehicle (under 3,500 kg) is accidentally damaged, Dent Shield helps pay for repairs or even a full replacement, depending on your chosen limit.

Business Shield
Business Shield protects your business from the legal costs of labour and civil disputes, allowing you to focus on growth instead of litigation. Underwritten by Summit 30, this innovative policy ensures legal and procedural support throughout your business journey.
The product includes access to a labour consultant who manages disciplinary hearings and represents your business during conciliation and arbitration proceedings. Where necessary, a legal practitioner will be appointed to handle appeals in the Labour Court.
Civil matters—whether brought by or against your business—are managed by an appointed legal practitioner.
